AUDITIONS! Set in the Great Depression, Doris Baizley’s A Christmas Carol is told by a troupe of scrappy vaudeville players. When Scrooge and Tiny Tim’s actors abandon the tour, the prop person and stage manager are thrust into the spotlight. With make-do casting, the rag-tag troupe brings to life the Spirits of Christmas—and the magic that melts even the coldest heart.

Christopher Durang’s Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike may be set in Bucks County, but its heart beats perfectly in Provincetown. With his signature blend of absurdist comedy and emotional truth, Durang gives voice to queer longing, aging, and reinvention—themes that resonate deeply in our artistic seaside town.
