2026 Season Auditions
Where: The Provincetown Theater, 238 Bradford Street, Provincetown, MA

Fifth of July: March 12-13 from 6-9 pm and March 14-15 from 12-4 pm

Who: Non-union actors of all races and gender identities. (Please note character breakdowns below for further details.)​
Jed Jenkins (male-presenting, 20s-40s): An athletic gardener; boyfriend of a wheelchair-bound Vietnam veteran.
Weston Hurley (male-presenting, 20s-60s): A goofy, tag-a-long guitar player; must play guitar.
June Talley (female-presenting, 30s-40s): A single mom and former '60s peace activist.
Shirley Talley (female-presenting, teenager): A precocious teenager; June's daughter.
Gwen Landis (female-presenting, 30s-40s): A wild, wannabe country singer.
Sally Friedman (female-presenting, 60s-70s): A kooky old widow; Ken and June's aunt.


The Teacher (all genders, all ages): A guru of the retreat center.
Joan (female-presenting, 40s-60s): A Manhattan therapist; very into Buddhism and Indian jewelry; Judy's partner.
Judy (female-presenting, 40s-60s): A Manhattan publisher at O magazine; Joan's partner.
Alicia (female-presenting, 20s-30s): A California-born free spirit who is broken hearted over her ex-boyfriend.
Ned (male-presenting, 20s-40s): A put-upon Joe dealing with self-worth and relationship issues.
Rodney (male-presenting, 20s-40s): A studly, athletic yoga instructor; married but sleeps around.
Jan (male-presenting, 40s-60s): A middle-aged man facing personal life-altering catastrophes.
5-9 Actors (female-presenting and non-binary, 20s-70s): Actors to inhabit at least three-four separate characters each; must have comedic abilities. (Production will adapt characters to fit individual actor abilities.)
