Mary Ashley is a committed community leader and devoted supporter of the Provincetown Theater. Since moving to North Truro in 2020 with her husband, Dave Bannard, Mary has become a passionate champion of the local arts scene—serving as a season subscriber, donor, and enthusiastic audience member at the Provincetown Theater.

Deeply engaged in community service, Mary is the Board Secretary of the Soup Kitchen in Provincetown (SKIP), where she also chairs the volunteer committee and manages volunteer scheduling. She works as a gallery associate at On Center Gallery in Provincetown, helping promote local artists and cultural programming.

Before relocating to the Cape, Mary spent nearly four decades in the Boston area and enjoyed a successful career as a professional French horn player. She performed with numerous classical ensembles across Boston and Providence and played in productions of CATS, 42nd Street, La Cage Aux Folles, and The Sound of Music, among many others. Mary holds a degree in Applied Music from Northwestern University.
