O'Keeffe!

By Lucinda McDermott

June 5-7 at 7pm

In her acclaimed solo play O’Keeffe!, Lucinda McDermott (she/her) brings the iconic artist to life with fresh insight and newly uncovered research. First premiering Off-Broadway in 1992, McDermott revitalized the piece in 2021, sharpening its language and deepening its portrait of Georgia O’Keeffe. TRANScripts

By Joshua Irving Gershick

June 12-14 at 7 pm

It’s a terrifying time to be transgender in America, but GLAAD-Award-winning playwright, author, journalist and filmmaker Joshua Irving Gershick knows firsthand the power of the personal story to change hearts and minds. In this funny, thought-provoking multimedia show, Gershick and a chorus of other trans voices share their surprising, inspiring  and sometimes uncomfortably affirming walk through the world. Gershick  – one part Eve Ensler, one part Studs Terkel – asks: How do we begin to see the divine in each other? It may all start with “Hello.”
